Following the success of the Perion’s 02_STATE NFT NYC activation, we turned our focus to showcasing the platform on a larger scale, across multiple countries, with the launch of a module that utilises NFTs as a “key” to access legacy ecommerce checkouts.
The platform activation was the perfect opportunity to recognise the achievements of the Perion esports team; We airdropped our top 100 players NFTs, which they could redeem for exclusive Perion merchandise, providing both mementos for their in-game achievements and rewarding their dedication. The platform is all in one solution allowing users to claim and redeem their NFTs, access the storefront, then ship their merchandise.

A pillar of Perion's mission is to build the best teams in Web3.0 gaming; some of the best gamers in the world play for Perion. The need to recognise our dedicated team’s achievements is central to fostering strong player engagement and continued commitment.
Enter player rewards: Utilising our novel NFT technology to provide the team Perion clothing wrapped in NFTs, combining both digital and physical rewards.
The technology has myriad use-cases beyond ecommerce. We can begin to explore new paradigms where player’s in-game NFTs act as a system for gated access to content and services, creating new systems for player rewards, and models of monetisation for game developers and creators.
